Art Workshops

Picasso Faces

I have designed this workshop for the Caloundra Art Gallery on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
The young participants were asked to de-construct and then re-construct their own faces and then paint them in the abstract way Picasso constructed some of his portraits.

Corinda Station, Brisbane:

This train station mural project involved students from a local primary school.
Very imaginative....

Mural Projects

Butterflies for Chelmer Train Station, Brisbane:

For this mural project we involved Milperra School in Brisbane; a school one of it's kind.
It is a place of transition, healing and adjusting for refugee children from all over the world.
Some children were so traumatised that they wouldn't talk at all. But art doesn't necessarily need words...

Indooroopilly Station, Brisbane:

One of the biggest projects I have been involved in.

Bray Park Station Project:

I just remember lots of sweat!

Virginia Station in Brisbane:

Working with stencils on rough, damp concrete was an experience in patience and perseverance!
